Cons:

Monday is pretty well rounded, but it’s not perfect. In my opinion, its biggest cons are:

  • Complex pricing structure, with up to four different tiers. This could be simplified significantly. Given there are only a couple of dollars between two of the plans, these feel like they could be rolled into one.
  • It has had periods of downtime while I’ve been using it, normally for just a few hours. These have always been resolved quickly and the support it good, but when you’re reliant on a tool, any downtime is a negative.

Monday is the only human resources management system you’ll ever need thanks to its innovative features and transparent interface.

You can invite clients along to see the progress of tasks, and it works well as a file, image and knowledge sharer.

It’s also available as an app on all devices, so users can update and use it from anywhere. It’s one of the most flexible, collaborative tools out there and I would highly personally recommend it.

2. Remote

Remote is ideal for managing all of your HR software needs, from payroll to HR planning. It’s the go-to tool for all types of businesses, especially ones that are growing at speed.

With Remote, you can trust that your company is handling all of your international payroll and benefits needs in-house.

  • With its flexible and modern platform, you can manage all of your international workforce’s expenses, including payroll, HR, and invoicing.
  • Remote is a global human resources management system that’s been tried and recommended by clients all over the world.

Cons:

  • The UX is a little clumsy in places.
  • Can’t see the pricing for more advanced plans without contacting them directly – it’s available on request.

Remote has two free plans, including one that’s usually worth $299. The free starter plan still includes a comprehensive range of benefits.

After that, there are two more plans, Global Payroll and Remote Enterprise, where pricing is available upon request only.

Having reviewed plenty of systems, Remote is one of the best HR software tools for ease of use, overall flexibility and planning. Its pricing options are clear (and fair) and it’s widely regarded as one of the best options (not just by me!).

There are so many different settings and areas that it can be difficult to navigate.

It might just be me, but I do get a little irritated when I can’t just see the price straight away and have to contact a sales person. BambooHR is another ‘request a quote’ HR software.

  • The customer service can be a little slow.
